Hi Folks,
In view of the high temperatures forecast for Saturday, Steve made a wise choice to cancel his walk up Ben Lomond because of the extremely exposed nature of the climb. Stuart was joined by 14 walkers who found the conditions in the woods alongside the Loch for his walk were much more acceptable and a good time was had by all. They enjoyed a refreshing glass of beer at the end of the trek even though it did mean sitting in the beer garden.
Saturday 19th July
Overview
Parmjit will be leading a moderately challenging walk in the Pentland Hills taking in Harlaw and Threipmuir reservoirs, followed by the ascent of Black Hill and Gask Hill. The return to the car park is by way of Glencorse Reservoir and Maiden's Cleugh. Mainly on good paths and tracks but there may be some softer ground on the hills if it has been wet beforehand.
